Zaniewski Ties For 8th Place On Uneven Bars At USAG Championships

SHREVEPORT, La. - Representing Temple in the USAG Individual Event Finals, junior captain Heather Zaniewski was awarded a score of 9.750 for her performance on uneven parallel bars on Sunday at Gold Dome. Zaniewski, who was coming off a career-best output (9.850) with her routine on Friday, earned a tie for eighth place on bars in the National Championship.
The 2013 season for Zaniewski and Temple Women's Gymnastics has now concluded. ECAC Coach of the Year Aaron Murphy will return 20 of his 23 gymnasts for his eighth season in 2014.
