PHILADELPHIA - Six Temple seniors will be honored prior to the final lacrosse home game of the season on Sunday, April 21 at 1:00 p.m. The Owls will be facing Richmond and looking to secure a spot in next weekend's four-team Atlantic 10 Tournament which will be held at the University of Massachusetts. Temple has seven seniors on the roster (pictured above) but Nina Falcone will play for the Owls as a fifth-year senior in 2014.

In addition to celebrating Senior Day on Sunday, Temple will take a few moments at halftime to honor members of its 2008 Atlantic 10 Champion team.

Over the past four, and in one case, five, years, the folllwing six seniors have been valuable contributors to the team, university and community.

In her four years as an Owl, Megan has quietly helped anchor Temple's defense, playing in 44 games and starting in 27 of those. Megan is a health information management major from Fallston, Md., who has been named to the Temple Director's Honor Roll three times already in her collegiate career.

Jackie Mercer
Despite the challenges faced by Jackie in her five-year career at Temple, she has proven to be a model of resilience and has inspired many both on and off the field. Jackie played in 52 games for Temple, starting in 46 of those before suffering her second season-ending injury in early March of this year. Jackie scored 35 goals in her career as an Owl, and recorded a hat trick last year in a win vs. Lafayette. An art major from Sewell, N.J., Jackie was named to Temple's President's Honor Roll last year, and to Temple's Director's Honor Roll each of the two years prior to that.

Kellee Pace
After stepping into a starting role this season, Kellee has made it count by scoring 19 goals to rank fourth on the team as of April 19. She has recorded three hat tricks, in wins vs. Niagara, Lafayette and Duquesne, which included a career-high four goals against Lafayette. Overall, Kellee has scored 40 goals and tallied six assists in her four-year career. An adult and organizational development major, Kellee hails from Boothwyn, Pa.

Stephany Parcell
A team co-captain this season, Steph has played in 66 games in her four-year career, starting in 52 of those. She is the team's points leader with 47 as of April 19, having scored 30 goals along with 17 assists which ranks among the top players in the Atlantic 10. Steph's 104 career draw controls rank seventh all-time in program history. She has scored in 13 of 14 games this season including five goals to lead the Owls to a big win at Duquesne. A kinesiology major from Prospect Park, Pa., Steph has been named to Temple's Director's Honor Roll in each year of her career so far.

Charlotte Swavola
