Fifteen Temple Football Players to Walk for Team TUFF ® in Komen Race

PHILADELPHIA— Fifteen Temple University football players have joined team TUFF ® [Temple University Football Family] for the 2013 Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure on Sunday, May 12.
Participating in the One-Mile Fun Walk are team TUFF ® captain senior OL Evan Regas, senior WR Ryan Alderman, senior OL Cody Booth, senior OL Sean Boyle, senior NT Levi Brown, sophomore DL Brandon Chudnoff, senior QB Chris Coyer, senior DL Sean Daniels, senior Matt Falcone, sophomore DB Will Hayes, sophomore OL Eric Lofton, junior OL Adam Metz, junior TE Wanemi Omuso, junior QB Connor Reilly, and senior OL Scott Roorda.
The other members of the football team will work the race (for the seventh consecutive year), assisting with set-up and event management.

Registration fee is $35 per person which goes directly to Komen Philadelphia. Make sure to join “TUFF” under teams. Team Registration deadline is April 28.
Racers may participate in a 5K Run, 5K Walk, or 1-mile Fun Walk.
On race day, the action begins at 6:30 a.m. on campus at Edberg-Olson Hall with a light breakfast, yoga stretching, and FREE bus transportation to/from center city. Special team t-shirts will be issued at EO the morning of the race.
TUFF ® captains are Julie Rhule, Matt Rhule, Evan Regas, and Cathy Bongiovi.
Team TUFF ® will accept fundraising contributions made through the Komen website through May 12.
Team TUFF ® is a Temple University community service initiative open to students, faculty, staff, and all members of the Temple family. The Komen race is just the first event of the 2013 season.
