PHILADELPHIA - Temple University senior Joanna Sutor was named to the 11-member 2013 Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Rowing Academic All-Conference team.  Sutor was also one of four Owls to be named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) National Scholar-Athletes.   Joining Sutor on the CRC Team were senior Claudia Loeber, junior Allison Watkins and sophomore Susan O'Neil Coyne.

"I am extremely proud of these four young women," said Temple women's rowing coach Rebecca Grzybowski. "They represent what we strive for with our program, the perfect combination of athletics and academics. I am also proud of our entire squad as Temple Women's Rowing earned a combined cumulative grade point average of a 3.25 for the spring semester."

Both members of Temple's Varsity 8 that placed fifth at the Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta, Sutor and Loeber earned their bachelor degrees this May in nursing and photography, respectively.  Watkins, a journalism major, was a member of the Owls' 2nd Varsity 8 while O'Neill Coyne, a kinesiology major, was part of the Varsity 4.
