OwlsTV Releases Fall Streaming Schedule

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University Athletics announced its videostreaming schedule for the 2013 fall season today, and a record 41 varsity athletic events will be streamed live via OwlsTV (formerly OwlAccess).
"We have strived to expand our digital sports coverage each season, and with the addition of men's and women's soccer to the slate, this fall season will provide our most extensive coverage," said Temple University Senior Associate Director of Athletics Larry Dougherty. "We will also be partnering with TUTV to enhance coverage of some events through a practicum established this semester through the School of Media and Communications."
The OwlsTV schedule commences with Temple Field Hockey hosting Ohio State Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the first round of the Conference Cup Tournament. That will be one of a dozen field hockey games streamed on OwlsTV. Volleyball will have a dozen matches streamed while men's soccer and women's soccer will have nine and eight matches shown, respectively.
OwlsTV will also feature student-run sportscasts, including the popular OwlSports Update, which will be produced twice weekly, and a new Temple Athletics Show that will highlight Temple's Olympic sports teams.
OwlsTV will feature a daily rate of $6.95 for live streams with discounted monthly ($10.95) and annual ($89.95) subscription rates.
