Devin Bibeau Named Men's Golf Assistant Coach

9.16.13 | Men's Golf

PHILADELPHIA –Devin Bibeau, who played for the Owls the last four seasons, has been named an assistant coach for the Temple University men's golf team. Bibeau will join head coach, Brian Quinn, who is in his sixth season with the Owls.

"Devin will be a tremendous asset to the program," said Quinn. "He knows what it takes to succeed at this level, and his hard work ethic as a player will translate well as a coach."

A four-year letter winner at Temple, Bibeau saved his best season for his last. As a senior in 2013, he placed fifth overall at the Atlantic 10 Men's Golf Championship with a personal best of three-under 213. In that same spring season, Bibeau landed a Top 10 finish at the Wildcat Invitational with a three-round score of 225.

Before coming to Temple, Bibeau set school and league records with a nine-hole low of four-under 31 while attending Nipmuc Regional High School in Upton, Mass. With junior golf tournament titles in five different states, he was able to captain his Nipmuc team and score the MVP title for three consecutive years.

Being named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference team in his final season as an Owl, the Upton, Mass. hopes to continue his success next to Quinn and the current Owls, who are coming off a summer of success.
