Gymnast Rebecca McAndrew Earns ECAC Weekly Award

PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's gymnastics student-athlete Rebecca McAndrew was selected the ECAC Coaches' Selection for her performance last Sunday at the George Washington Invitational.
 
In her first collegiate meet, the freshman stepped in for an injured teammate and performed for her on the beam and floor, serving as the anchor on floor.  She scored 7.8 on the beam and 9.425 on floor.  She had the highest score for the Owls on floor and was 13th overall for the event.
 
Women's gymnastics return to action tonight at 6:00 p.m. at Bridgeport with Yale and Southern Connecticut also participating in the meet.
