Temple is now the third team in program history with double digit wins in a season. The women's soccer program has only had double digit wins in a season twice. During the second half, the Owls came out aggressively with several decent attempts at target but could not find the goal. The Owls outshot the Cougars 6 to 4 in the second half and the score stayed 1-0 until the end of regulation. Temple finished the game out-shooting Houston 13 to 5. Shauni Kerkhoff registered her 5th shutout of the season.
The Owls will return home this Thursday, Oct. 16th against UCF. The game is scheduled for a 3:00 pm start at Ambler Sports Complex in Ambler, Pa.
