Men's Basketball Hosts LIU Brooklyn Sunday

PHILADELPHIA - Temple men's basketball returns from its Thanksgiving break to host LIU-Brooklyn Sunday afternoon (4:00 p.m./ESPN3/1210 AM WPHT).Â
The Owls (3-2) will be looking for their second straight win, and fourth straight at the Liacouras Center while the Blackbirds (0-3) are looking for their first victory of the season.
Temple is coming off its first Big 5 game and win of the season, a 76-67 win over Penn Tuesday. Â Sophomore Mark Williams (9.0 ppg./7.4 rpg.) scored the most points in game by an Owl this season with a career-high 24, which also tied for second most in The American this season.
Senior Will Cummings and junior Quenton DeCosey average double figures for the Owls, tallying 16.4 and 11.4 points per game, respectively. Redshirt sophomore Daniel Dingle (8.2 ppg,) and junior Devontae Watson (1.6 ppg.) round out the starting five,
Sophomore guard Joel Hernandez leads a balanced Blackbird scoring attack, averaging 9.0 points per game. Senior forward Landon Atterberry (7.3 ppg,) tops the squad with 6.3 rebounds per contest.
