Women's Gymnastics Prepares for Upcoming Season with Mock Meet

PHILADELPHIA- With the season a month away Temple women's gymnastics had its final mock meet in 2014 on Saturday afternoon in their practice facility in McGonigle Hall.

Coach Aaron Murphy held the mock meet to simulate the pressures and routines the gymnasts will have at their meets this season. Temple went from one event to another just like a regular meet, but had more than the five gymnasts and one all-around competitor in some of the events.

With a big senior class of eight gymnasts, Temple brings back many key gymnasts from last season, some who missed last season injury and four newcomers. The Owls start the season at Eastern Michigan on Friday, Jan. 9 at 7:00 p.m.
