Fitzgerald Earns Philadelphia Big 5 Honor Roll Nod

PHILADELPHIA - Temple sophomore Feyonda Fitzgerald earned a spot on the Philadelphia Big 5 Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll for her play during the period ending December 7.
Fitzgerald returned to form, putting up 15 points a contest in an 0-2 week for the Owls. She led the team in scoring against Delaware, and added three assists and four boards to her point total against Fordham.Â
Fitzgerald leads Temple in scoring, averaging 14.5 points per game. She is second on the team with 3.1 assists per game and is tied for third with seven steals on the season.Â
Temple women's basketball is back in action on Wednesday, hosting nationally-ranked Rutgers at McGonigle Hall at 6 p.m.
