Softball Games at Drexel Moved to Ambler; Squad Adds Extra USF Game to Ledger

PHILADELPHIA – Due to a scheduling conflict at Drexel, the Temple softball doubleheader against the Dragons, originally scheduled to be played at Drexel Softball Field on Wednesday, April 30, will now take place in Ambler, Pa., at the Temple Softball Stadium. The doubleheader will start with game one at 2:30 p.m.
In addition, the Owls have added a second game against USF on Sunday, May 4. The squads are playing an American Athletic Conference doubleheader on Saturday, May 3, and closing out the three-game conference series with a single game at noon on Sunday. Since USF does not have an early flight out, the teams have agreed to play a second game on Sunday. The contest will count in the overall records, but not as a conference contest.
The Owls are 15-20 overall and 5-7 in The American. The squad travels to Stony Brook for a non-conference twinbill on Wednesday, April 23, before heading to Louisville this weekend for a trio of league games.
