PHILADELPHIA
- The Penn Relays have come to an end for Temple women's track & field after the Owls competed in two events on Friday.

The women's 4x100 meter relay team, who had advanced to the ECAC Final with a season-best time on Thursday, bettered that time by two-hundredths of a second on Friday. The foursome of Demeshia Davis, Jimmia McCluskey, Courtney Mitchell and Bionca St. Fleur finished eighth in the final with a time of 46.56.

Sophomore Jamila Janneh had a strong showing for Temple in the triple jump Eastern division, advancing to finals and placing seventh of 31 competitors. Her first jump of six attempts ended up being her best, as she hit a mark of 11.93 meters.

The Penn Relays will continue with one more event for Temple on Saturday, as Gabe Pickett competes for the men's team in the triple jump at 9:00 a.m
