– Temple women's rowing advanced three boats from the morning semifinals into the afternoon finals at the 2014 Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta on Saturday. The Owls' best finish at the regatta was a fourth-place showing during a freak thunderstorm by the varsity four in the team's final event on the day.

"I thought we had a solid day," head coach Rebecca Grzybowski said. "I was really impressed with how they supported each other, win or lose. It says a lot about the team as a whole and its personality."
