CHICAGO – Men's soccer players Robert Sagel and Miguel Polley were selected to attend the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team Player Training Camp at North Carolina State University from May 17-25.  Sagel and Polley were two of 24 players picked for the camp and also the only players from the American Athletic Conference.

U-20 MNT assistant coach Brian Bliss will oversee the camp, which features friendly matches against the Carolina RailHawks on May 20, the RailHawks U-23s on May 22 and the Wilmington Hammerheads on May 24.  After the camp in North Carolina, the U-20 MNT will next meet at U.S. Soccer's National Training Center in Carson, California, for the NTC Invitational Tournament in mid-July.

This is the first camp at the U-20 level for Sagel and Polley.  Both players have experience with the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.  Sagel has had one previous call-up with U-17 MNT when he attended Mondial Minimes International Tournament in Montaigu, France, in April of 2011.  Polley was also last called up for a U-18 MNT camp in Carson, California in March of 2012.

This is one of many honors and accolades for Sagel after his very productive freshman season at Temple.  Among his numerous honors was being named second team all-conference, the Philadelphia Soccer Six Freshman of the Year, and Second Team National Soccer Coaches Association All-Northeast Region Team.  Polley redshirted last season.
