PRINCETON, N.J. - For a second meet in a row, junior Jenna Dubrow broke the school record in the 10,000 meter run for Temple women's track and field. On day one of the ECAC Championships, Dubrow took third place in the event with a new record time of 35:39.02.
Two weeks ago at the American Athletic Conference Championships, Dubrow raced in the 10K for the first time in her career and set what was then the school record with a sixth-place time of 36:44.80.
Dubrow's third-place performance this week earned her six team points for the Owls, who have a total of seven individuals and two relay teams competing this weekend.
Junior Kiersten LaRoche has completed four events of the six-event heptathlon, which will finish up on Saturday. LaRoche's best placing so far was in the high jump, where she took eighth among the 15 competitors with a mark of 1.56m.
On Saturday, Demeshia Davis and Bionca St. Fleur will compete in the 200m, while Temple will also field teams in both the 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay.
