Women’s Basketball TV Slate Features 15 National Games

PHILADELPHIA – The American Athletic Conference has announced that six Temple women's basketball games will be broadcast by the American Digital Network (ADN). The announcement brings the Owls' season total to 15 games that will air live on national media outlets.

In addition to the games on the ADN, the Owls' schedule features four games on ESPN3, two games on ESPNU, and one game each on ESPN2, SportsNet New York (SNY), and CBS Sports Network.Temple will appear on ESPN2 against UConn (Feb. 1) and on ESPNU against Memphis (Dec. 28) and USF (Feb. 22). ESPN3 will air games against Cincinnati (Jan. 3 and Jan. 20), Tulane (Feb. 17), and East Carolina (Feb. 28). SNY will broadcast the Owls at UConn (Jan. 14) and CBS Sports Network will carry Temple vs. USF (Jan. 11).

The six conference games that will be broadcast on ADN are UCF (Jan. 27), Memphis (Feb. 4), Tulane (Feb. 7), Houston (Feb. 14 and March 2), SMU (Feb. 25).

"We're eagerly anticipating another season of American Athletic Conference games." said Temple head coach Tonya Cardoza. "To have a second straight year with so much national television exposure is very exciting for both Temple and the American."
