Head coach Steve Mauro was extremely pleased with the way the girls played against an extremely competitive team.
"I'm really happy that the girls came out and played great tennis tonight, especially in singles; all of the singles matches were won in straight sets," said Mauro. "Delaware is a very strong team this year, so we will happy we were able to get the win against them. Hopefully this momentum will carry us through the next few matches."
The Owls will face University of Maryland, Baltimore County on Friday, February 7 at 5:30 p.m. The match will take place at Upper Dublin Sports Center in Ambler.
