Men's Soccer Player Brendon Creed To Play for the Trinidad & Tobago Under-20 National Team

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad & Tobago – Temple men's soccer player Brendon Creed will play for the Trinidad & Tobago Under-20 National Team for the 2015 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship that starts this Friday.
Creed, a freshman, has represented his country in international competition before. He was the captain on Trinidad & Tobago's Under-17 Team for CONCAF and CFU Qualifiers before coming to Temple. The midfielder started nine games for the Owls this season.
Creed will one of three United States-based players on the squad with College of Charleston defender Leland Archer, Virginia Tech forward Ricardo John and USF midfielder Duane Muckette joining him to represent Trinidad and Tobago.
"These player such as Muckette, Creed and John will definitely add some quality to what we already have with the likes of (Kadeem) Corbin, Levi Garcia and the other boys who did exceptionally well for us in the Caribbean Championship," Head Coach Derek King said.
The 2015 CONCACAF Under-20 Championships will be played in Jamaica on January 9-24. The junior Soca Warriors open the tournament against host Jamaica in Kingston on January 9.
