Cagle Earns Spot on Weekly Conference Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Following a nine-save week, goalkeeper Alex Cagle has earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference's weekly honor roll.
In the Owls' 0-0 double overtime draw against Delaware, Cagle logged six total saves through 110 minutes of play to keep the Blue Hens out of the net.
Three more saves were logged by Cagle against the Bulls who were able to get one goal to win the match on Saturday, Oct. 3.
Cagle now leads the conference in goals against average (.691), is second in save percentage (0.800), and third in total saves with 32.
Cagle has earned conference honors every week of the 2015 season except for the week ending on Sept. 27, being named the American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for three consecutive weeks of the season.
