Matthews Places 13th at Sun Bowl Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic

EL PASO, Texas - Senior All-American Brandon Matthews shot a five-over 76 on his final round of the Sun Bowl Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic Sunday to finish 13th out of 22 golfers with a five-over 218.
Vanderbilt's Zack Jaworski won the 2015 Sun Bowl Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic with a 6-under-par 207 (71-69-67) in three rounds of play.Â
The tournament was held at one of the premier college golf tournaments in the country, the 6889-yard El Paso Country Club. Some of golf's brightest stars have competed in the tournament since its inaugural year in 1976. Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Davis Love III, Ricky Barnes and Jerry Pate are just a handful of past participants who went on to have successful PGA careers. College All-America Golf Classic Alumni have combined to win 47 majors championships and have earned over $1 billion in career earnings.
Matthews next competes at the second stage of the PGA Q School on Nov. 10-13 at Southern Hills Planation Club in Brooksville, Fla.Â
