Gomez Sanchez Named a Soccer News Net College Boot Award Finalist

PHILADELPHIA— Jorge Gomez Sanchez, a junior forward for Temple men's soccer, has recently been announced as one of 29 finalists for the 2015 Soccer News Net College Boot award. The award recognizes the top college player of the year as nominated by the editors of each site in the Soccer News Net network.
Fans can cast their vote for the top collegiate player here. Voting will continue through Dec. 23, 2015.
Gomez Sanchez is one of three players nominated through Philly Soccer News. He made his mark in his first season as an Owl, leading the team in overall points with 31 and scoring 13 goals. Ranking fifth in program history for single-season goals, Gomez Sanchez was a key factor in the Owls' winning 10-7-2 season.
