Gomez Sanchez and Moros Gracia Earn NSCAA All-East Regional Team Selections

PHILADELPHIA – The National Soccer Coaches Association of America has announced its post-season All-East Regional teams, honoring Temple men's soccer members Jorge Gomez Sanchez on the second team and Carlos Moros Gracia on the third team.
Both Owls made impressive contributions to the teams' winning 10-7-2 record as first-year team members. Gomez Sanchez ended the season as the team leader with 31 total points that included 13 goals that currently ranks in fifth in program history for single-season goals. He was named to the American Athletic Conference's second team and earned five regular-season honors from the conference.
Moros Gracia was a key defensive player for the Owls, logging three goals and one assist in his first season as an Owl. He led the team in total minutes played with 1766 and was one of three Owls to start in all 19 matches of the season. Moros Gracia was recognized by the conference as the Defense Player of the Week twice in the month of September. For his efforts all season, Moros Gracia was also named second team all-conference.
