CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — Temple junior golfer Brandon Matthews shot a two-under 70 on the final round Sunday to win the 2014 Dixie Amateur by five strokes.
Matthews concluded the prestigious amateur event with a 10-under 278, besting Drew Czuchry, who finished with a five-under 283. Monday's final round was held at TPC Eagle Trace.
Owls' senior Pat Ross tied for 15th overall, compiling a six-over 294.
