Owls Race at City Championship Regatta on Saturday

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's rowing and men's crew teams will compete at the City Championships this Saturday. The Owl women will race for the Kelly Cup and the men will compete for the Bergen Cup on the Schuylkill River.
Racing action begins at 9:30 a.m. with the men's freshmen four event. Temple will face Philadelphia-foes Drexel, St. Joseph's, Villanova, and La Salle in the 10-race regatta. A full schedule of racing and lane assignments is below.
For fans heading to the river, please note that Kelly Drive will remain open this weekend so parking will be limited.There is high school racing scheduled to begin immediately following the Bergen/Kelly Cup so the regular Canoe Club lot will not available for parking. Fans may park in the upper Canoe Club lot (the gravel lot between the Canoe Club and the Strawberry Mansion Bridge) or down at the finish line lot, but should not park on the grass/sidewalk.
