Women's Tennis Defeats Coppin State, 4-0

PHILADELPHIA – The women's tennis team took down visiting Coppin State, 4-0 on April 8.
By default, the Owls were awarded the doubles point. In singles, Mariana Bedon was able to capture a 6-0, 6-0 win at the third flight over Miranda Taylor. Yana Khon returned to the singles lineup, taking down Ashley Milo at the second flight, 6-0, 6-1, while Dina Karina shutout Carentxa Goede at the first flight, 6-0, 6-0. Rebecca Breland wrapped up singles with a 6-0 win over Alexis Marsh at the fourth flight.
On April 7, the Owls also picked up a 7-0 win over Maryland Eastern Shores by default. The Owls will hold Senior Day on April 11 at TU Pavilion as they take on Farleigh Dickinson at 2 p.m.
