Kiersten LaRoche Takes Fifth in Long Jump at American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships

STORRS, Conn. - Senior Kiersten LaRoche placed fifth in the long jump for Temple track and field on the third day of the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships. LaRoche's 5.90m mark earned four points for the Owls on Saturday. In the same event, sophomore Bionca St. Fleur finished ninth with a distance of 5.71m.

In the 400m dash, sophomore Kenya Gaston placed 10th with a personal-best time of 55.36 seconds.

On the final day of the conference championships, the Owls get back in action with the triple jump trials at 10:30 a.m. followed by several other trials and final events throughout the day.
