Men's Soccer Earns NSCAA College Team Academic Award for Third Consecutive Year

PHILADELPHIA – #17 men's soccer adds to their success off the field earning the NSCAA College Team Academic Award for the 2014-15 season for the third consecutive year. The award is recognized to both men's and women's collegiate teams that post a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The Owls logged in an impressive 3.44 GPA with 15 players being placed on Temple's Directors Honor Roll for having a GPA of 3.0 or higher and three players earning a spot on Temple's Presidents Honor Roll for having a GPA above 3.5.
Temple men's soccer saw its first NSCAA College Team Academic Award in 2010. Since then, the Owls have also earned the award in 2013 and 2014.
A total of 873 Division I, II and III college soccer programs received the prestigious award, including 562 women's programs. Temple is one of the 219 schools to have both its men's and women's programs honored.
