TAMPA, Fla. – To continue its American Athletic Conference schedule, the Temple women's soccer team travels across the state of Florida to take on #24 USF in a Sunday afternoon. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 1:00 p.m.

The Owls started American Athletic Conference play on Thursday, dropping their opening game to reigning regular season champions UCF 1-0.

Freshman Jordan Nash had another impressive day in the net, allowing only one goal to be scored and tallying six saves. Nash is third in the American Athletic Conference with 33 saves and a .846 saves percentage.

The Owls best chance to score in the game came when senior Erin Lafferty took the only shot on goal in the 63rd minute.

Even with the loss, senior Kelly Farrell still leads NCAA?in goals scored (11) and total points (24), while also leading the conference in those categories as well.

A win against USF would give the Owls their first win against the Bulls and their first against a ranked opponent during their time in the American Athletic Conference.
