Temple Athletics Announces Staff Promotions

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University Director of Athletics Dr. Patrick Kraft announced the promotions of seven staff members, including the addition of two new members to the department's Senior Staff.

"My philosophy has always been to reward good people and promote from within whenever possible," said Kraft. "So I am extremely happy to be able to do that with these key individuals. Our Temple staff is one of the best in collegiate athletics, and these promotions will only make the department stronger as a whole."

The two new additions to the department's Senior Staff are Sean Padden and Lee Roberts.

Padden, who had served the previous two years as the Director of Football Operations, has been promoted to Associate Athletics Director/Chief of Staff. In his new role, Padden will have varsity sport oversight of Football, while working directly with the athletic director on various administrative projects.

Roberts, who has been with Temple Athletics since 1984, has been elevated from Assistant Athletics Director to Associate Athletics Director for Facilities and Event Management. The veteran administrator will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the University's athletic facilities as well as the game operations of all athletic events.

The five other athletic staff members who were promoted include:

Denise Fitzpatrick, who is in her sixth year at Temple, has been elevated to Assistant Athletics Director/Marketing & Promotions. She previously served as the department's Marketing Manager.

Bryan Kulp, who is in his fourth year at Temple, has been promoted to Assistant Athletics Director/ Facilities & Event Management. He served the last three years as an Assistant Director for Athletic Facilities.

Quinton Smith, who is in his third year at Temple, has been promoted to Assistant Athletics Director/Compliance & Student-Athlete Affairs. He previously served as the Assistant Director for Compliance and Student Services.

Morgyn Seigfried, who is in her second year at Temple, has been promoted from Social Media Coordinator to Digital Media Manager.

Scott Wallace, who is in his second year at Temple, has been elevated from Coordinator of Internal Operations for football to Director of Football Operations.
