PHILADELPHIA – Temple Football fanatics will have a multitude of ways to help welcome the 2016 class of recruits to Owl Country on National Letter of Intent Day, Wednesday, February 3.
For the third straight year, Owlsports.com will live-stream a Signing Day Show to introduce the newest Owls. The show, hosted by Temple University Athletic Department's Kevin Copp, Sean Padden and Morgyn Seigfried, will begin at 8:00 a.m. emanating from the Mitchell and Debra Sonkin Special Events Room, also known as the Owls Nest at Edberg Olson Hall. The show will feature up-to-the-minute signing confirmations, video highlights, and interviews with coaches and current players.
For those who cannot be in front of a computer to catch the entire webcast, stay informed to breaking news by following the Owls on twitter (@Temple_FB). All of the Owls social media platforms will be updated throughout the day to reflect the most current information.
Later that night, the Owl Club will host a Recruiting Celebration at the Crystal Tea Room in Center City beginning at 6:00 p.m. There, head coach Matt Rhule will dissect the 2016 recruiting class complete with highlights and an active Q&A segment. Registration for the event is $25 and includes dinner (attire is business casual). Owl Club members receive the special rate of registering for $20 and Temple students can register for $15 (a Temple student ID must be shown at the door).
