Temple converted on 62.5% of its third down attempts (10 of 16).
For only the second time this season, Temple did not have a turnover.
The tone was set early as Temple scored on two of its first three drives in the following fashion: 14-plays, 70-yards, 7:50 and 15-plays, 75-yards, 8:12. USF had only four first half possessions.

Romond Deloatch's tackle of USF QB Brett Kean in the end zone resulted in Temple's first safety since 2014 at UConn (Tyler Matakevich).

In five wins, Temple has allowed its opponent to start a drive in Temple territory just two times. In three losses, it has happened 10 times.
Senior RB Jahad Thomas continues his streak of scoring two-or-more touchdowns in a game. He was 16-56-2TDs rushing and 1-12 receiving. He now has 9 rushing TDs and 3 receiving TDs giving him 12 for the season and a pair in all six games he has played – no other player in the country has a streak of six consecutive games with two-or-more TDs.
Sophomore RB Ryquell Armstead was 20-210-2TDs rushing. He broke off two scores of 76- and 42-yards. The 76-yarder was the longest run of his career, and tied for the eighth longest for Temple since 1971. The 210 yards gave him his second 100-yard game of his career and was the 14th best rushing game by an Owl.
Redshirt senior TE Colin Thompson, who has made a tremendous contribution as a blocker helping Thomas and Armstead to incredible numbers, recorded the first touchdown of his career on a 1-yard pass from Phillip Walker.
Senior DL Averee Robinson recorded the first 2.0 sack game of his career and notched a career-best 5 solo tackles.
Redshirt senior DL Haason Reddick, tasked with containing duel-threat USF QB Quinton Flowers, was "limited" to just two tackles but 1.5 were TFLs including a sack. Reddick continues to lead all FBS players with 15.5 TFLs and ranks first in the AAC with 7.5 sacks.
Sophomore S Delvon Randall sealed the game with a 4th quarter interception that was converted into a TD for a 44-30 lead. It was Randall's third interception of the season.
Redshirt sophomore WR Ventell Bryant was explosive early recording his first career 100-yard receiving game (5-115) – all in the first half.
