Dion Dawkins - All-American Candidate
11.11.16 | Dion Dawkins - 2016 All-American Candida
Dion Dawkins, who earned fourth team All-America honors from Phil Steele in 2015, has become one of the most dominent offensive linemen in college football. A throwback as adept at protecting his quarterback's blindside as opening gaping holes for the running game, Dawkins has started 36 games for Temple over the last four seasons. He has kept QB Phillip Walker upright (Walker boasts a streak of 43 consecutive starts, longest by an FBS QB). Dawkins has also powered an Owls' ground game that has produced two backs (sophomore Ryquell Armstead and senior Jahad Thomas) to 647+ rushing yards and 9 rushing TDs each - the only duo in the nation to produce those numbers.
Please vote for Dion when filling out your ballot for the All-American team.ÂÂ
