SCOUTING QUINNIPIAC
Quinnipiac enters Sunday's game sporting a 4-0 mark. The Bobcats are ranked No. 4 in the latest College Insider Mid-Major Poll, the highest mid-major ranking in program history.

The Bobcats run an offense they call "the Gold Rush," with five players subbed out at a time. That system sees Quinnipiac carry nine players who average over five points per outing, led by Adily Martucci (12.0 ppg) and Morgan Manz (11.3 ppg). Paula Strautmane, Aryn McClure, Brittany Johnson, and Jen Fay all add over seven points per game, with McClure leading the Bobcats on the boards (6.8 rpg).

Quinnipiac shoots 38.9% from the field and 29.6% from beyond-the-arc. The Bobcats hold opponents to just 57.5 points per game, including shooting only 19.7% from three-point range, and have forced an average of 22.3 points per game.

LAST TIME OUT

TEMPLE VS. THE BOBCATS
Temple leads the all-time series against Quinnipiac, 2-1, including a 2-0 mark against the Bobcats in post-season play. Last season, the teams met in the regular season and in the WNIT, with both games being decided by just two points. Quinnipiac took the regular-season meeting 58-56, while Temple won in the second-round of the WNIT, 64-62.

LAST TIME THEY MET: 3/20/16 - Temple 64, Quinnipiac 62
Temple grabbed a nail-biting 64-62 win over Quinnipiac in the second round of the WNIT. Clinging to a one-point lead with under two minutes to play, Temple used a 6-2 run to gain some breathing room. A pair of Owl free throws would put Temple up 64-59 with 3.1 seconds on the clock, making a QU three at the buzzer inconsequential, as Temple survived and advanced.

Fitzgerald finished with 23 points for game-high honors, also adding five rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Atkinson and senior Erica Covile each notched double-doubles, as Atkinson had 16 points and 11 boards, and Covile ended with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore Alliya Butts had six points, five assists, and three steals, while classmate Donnaizha Fountain rounded out the box with five points and five rebounds.

Quinnipiac's Strautmane had 19 points eight rebounds, and three blocks to lead the Bobcats, while McClure added 17 points.
