Oliveri Earns ECAC Weekly Honors

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference has released its weekly Corvias Women's Gymnastics honors, naming Temple's Reagan Oliveri the Coaches' Choice Gymnast of the Week. This is Oliveri's first weekly conference honor of 2016.
Oliveri competed in the all-around for the first time in 2016 following a red-shirt year due to a torn Achilles tendon in 2015. She led the Owls in the all-around with a score of 38.35, which ranked third overall. Oliveri finished the day with a career-high 9.85 on bars that shared the title on the event and took the top mark on beam, matching her season high with a 9.7.
Oliveri now ranks ninth in the conference on beam with a 9.554 average on the event.
The Owls return to competition on Friday, Feb. 12 in Chicago, Ill. for the Chicago Style Meet featuring Northern Illinois, Central Michigan and Alaska Anchorage. The competition is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
