Lauren Adee Promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Major Gifts

PHILADELPHIA - Lauren Adee, who has been with the Temple Athletics Development office for a year and a half, has been promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Major Gifts.

In her new role, Adee will provide leadership for the major gifts team and guide the strategic direction of major gifts for the department. Adee will manage a portfolio of 150-200 donors and prospects, identify and qualify prospects, engage and cultivate current and prospective donors, directly solicit donors for major gifts of $50,000 or more, and steward donors. In addition to these responsibilities, she will also manage and oversee the development budget for the department.

A 2008 graduate of Temple, Adee returned to the University a year and a half ago as the Director of Development overseeing the annual fund, stewardship, special events, and the marketing and communications for the development office. Before she returned to Temple, Adee served as the Director of Annual Giving at the University of New Mexico and the Assistant Director of Development at New Mexico State University. Prior to entering the collegiate athletics field, Adee was a Group Sales and Service Account Executive with the Atlanta Hawks.

Adee has her undergraduate degree from Temple in business administration and her master's degree in business administration from New Mexico State University. During her time as a student at Temple, she served as a men's basketball manager for Hall of Fame Coach John Chaney and current head coach, Fran Dunphy.
