PHILADELPHIA – The Temple women's track and field team is set for another two-day meet this weekend in Williamsburg, Va. The 2016 Colonial Relays will begin on Friday, April 1 and continue to Saturday, April 2. Across both days, the Owls will be competing in 19 different events including seven different relays.

Last weekend, the Owls notched five top-ten finishes and three personal-bests at the Raleigh Relays. Kenya Gaston posted the highest finish for an individual running event, placing ninth in the 400-meter run with a time of 55.81.

This weekend will see the return of freshman Sylvia Wilson, who did not compete last weekend due to injury. Wilson, who set two school records during the indoor season, will be running in the 100-meter dash and 100-meter hurdles event.

Katie Pinson, who has shown significant growth in her longer distance runs, will be participating in the 5000-meter run for the first time on Friday.
