Mehler and Millio Named Women's Rowing Team Captains

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple women's rowers Emilie Mehler andLea Millio have been named team captains for the 2016-17 season, as announced by head coach Rebecca Smith Grzybowski.
"Team leadership is, and always will be, an important component to our success," noted Grzybowski. "Emilie and Lea both possess high quality leadership skills and characteristics. I know they will work well with each other and their teammates and I'm excited to see how they step into this role."
Temple women's rowing is coming off a best-ever finish at the American Athletic Conference Championships in 2016. The Owls' fall season kicks off on October 15 on the Schuylkill River at the Navy Day Regatta.
