Artum Kapshuk Ranked No. 17 in Atlantic Regional Rankings

TEMPLE, AZ. – In the first edition of the Oracle/ITA Division I Atlantic Regional Rankings in 2017, Temple sophomore Artem Kapshuk has been placed at no. 17. Kapshuk and the Owls open the 2017 season on Sunday at Monmouth beginning at 6:30 p.m at the Legacy Tennis Center.
In his rookie sesason, Kapshuk finished with a 22-7 overall record which currently sits in a tie for second with Uladzimir Dorash for most wins by a freshman. Kapshuk was the team leader with an 18-5 dual record and finished with a 14—12 doubles record, going 7-5 with former Owl Santiago Cantete.
In the rankings, Old Dominion led the way with four players being selected within the top 20. Monarchs' Adam Moundir was selected as number one.
