Fitzgerald on American Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple women's basketball player Feyonda Fitzgerald continues her best season to date, earning a spot on Monday's American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll. The senior led the Owls' offense to a 2-0 week, as Temple won its eighth and ninth straight games.
Fitzgerald averaged 20.5 points, 6.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds as Temple won a pair of conference match-ups. On Wednesday against East Carolina, she recorded 22 pints with nine assists as Temple defeated the Pirates. On Sunday, Fitzgerald tallied 19 points, five rebounds, and a pair of assists as Temple defeated Tulsa on the road. For the week, Fitzgerald shot 47.1% (16-34) from the field, with only two turnovers for a massive 5.5 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Temple continues conference play on Wednesday, playing at Houston at 7:00 p.m. EST.
