AKRON, Ohio – Temple Golf will make its first appearance at the Firestone Invitational this week when the Owls' tee off Monday at the par-72, 7,125-yard Firestone Country Club North Course. The 54-hole Firestone Invitational is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start and continuous play for 36 holes. Tuesday will be the final round (8:30 a.m.) with split tee times on holes No. 1 & No. 10.

Tournament Notes
> Besides Temple, the 16-team field includes host Akron, Bradley, Cincinnati, Davidson, Dayton, Furman, George Mason, Illinois State, Mercer, Ohio, Old Dominion, Richmond, South Carolina Aiken, William & Mary, and Valparaiso.
> Temple's five golfers will be Trey Wren, John Barone, Dawson Anders, Sam Soeth and Liam McGrath. Erik Reisner, making his first appearance of the season, will be playing as an individual.
>Anders, the lone freshman of the traveling squad, leads the Owls in stroke average at 72.6.
