Watch Live Coverage of The American Basketball Media Day

PHILADELPHIA - Temple men's and women's basketball coaches and student-athletes will take part in the American Athletic Conference Media Day on Monday, October 16. The American's Hali Oughton will anchor live coverage from Philadelphia Airport Marriott and will be joined by broadcast veterans Andy Katz, Monica McNutt and Mike O'Donnell.
Programming will open at 7:45 a.m. ET, with the reveal of the men's basketball preseason poll, all-conference teams and preseason player and rookie of the year honorees. Katz, a renowned voice in college basketball, will anchor roundtable conversations with the 12 men's basketball head coaches of The American. O'Donnell will have interviews with all 10 preseason all-conference honorees, as well.
Fran Dunphy along with redshirt senior guard Josh Brown and senior forward Obi Enechionyia will represent the Temple men's basketball team.
The American's women's basketball show will begin at 11:10 a.m. ET and feature a similar format, with McNutt hosting three roundtables with the 12 women's basketball head coaches. From the half-court stage, O'Donnell will interview student-athletes throughout the three-hour program.
Tonya Cardoza and senior guards Alliya Butts and Tanaya Atkinson will represent the Temple women's basketball team.
Both shows will be available on The American's Facebook and YouTube channels. The complete roster of coaches and student-athletes attending the 2017 media day will be announced on Thursday, Oct. 12.
Previously, the 2017 American Athletic Conference Summer Kickoff and Media Days presented by NAPA Auto Parts generated more than 950,000 impressions across the conference's digital and social platforms. The media day live show was the most-watched live, digital event in conference history.
