Golf Opens Play at Georgetown Intercollegiate Monday

BEALSVILLE, Md. – After a two week layoff, Temple Golf returns to action Monday to compete in the 11-team 33rd Annual Georgetown Intercollegiate. The 54-hole, two-day tournament will be held at the 6,950-yard, par-71 Members Club at Four Streams.
Tournament Notes
> Besides Temple, the field includes host Georgetown (playing two teams), Florida Atlantic, Navy, Rhode Island, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Saint Joseph's, Stetson, Temple and William & Mary
> Temple's five golfers will be Sam Soeth ,Trey Wren, John Barone, Dawson Anders, and Liam McGrath. Gary McCabe will be playing as an individual.
> Coming off his best finish as a collegiate player, Soeth leads the Owls with a 73.3 stroke average over eight rounds this fall.
> The tournament begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.
