Golf Places Seventh at Georgetown Intercollegiate

BEALSVILLE, Md. – A trio of Temple golfers carded 73s for their final round at the Georgetown Intercollegiate to help the Owls move up one spot to seventh in the 11-team field. Temple was just two strokes behind sixth place Navy and finished 12 back of team champion and host Georgetown. The tournament was held at the 6,950-yard, par-71 Members Club at Four Streams.
Tournament Notes
> Redshirt junior John Barone, junior Sam Soeth and freshman Dawson Anders led the way Tuesday with the 73s.
> Junior Trey Wren rounded out the Temple scorers with a five over 76.
> Barone had the best overall finish by an Owl, tying for 16th overall with a 12-over 226. Soeth and Wren tied for 21st overall with 228s.
> There was a three-way tie for first with Navy's Charlie Musto won the individual medal in the third playoff hole.
