Women’s Soccer Hits the Road to Take on USF

PHILADELPHIA- The Temple women's soccer team (6-7-2, 2-3-1) travels to Florida to take on USF (9-3, 5-1) on Thursday, Oct.19 with a 7:00 p.m. start time. It will be the first of two road games in Florida as the squad will head to UCF to take on the Knights Sunday with a 1:00 p.m. start time.
Scouting the Owls
> Senior forward Gabriella McKeown currently leads the team in points with 10.
> Sophomore goalkeeper Morgan Basileo has a record of 5-4-2 and has five shutouts this season.
> McKeown also leads the team in goals with four as she has scored two in the last three games.
> Redshirt senior forward Kayla Cunningham has the team lead in assists with five, and recorded two in the Owls' last win vs. Houston on Oct. 12.
> McKeown is now the Owls' active leader in all-time points with 28.
>Cunningham currently sits tied for seventh on the Owls' all-time assist list with nine, and senior midfielder Elana Falcone currently sits tied for ninth all-time with eight.
> For the season, the Owls have recorded assists on 16 of their 22 goals (.727).
Scouting the Bulls
> South Florida is 9-3 overall this season and has won its last four games by a total margin of 10-1 in those contests.
> Sophomore forward Evelyne Viens leads the team in total points (25), goals (9) and, assists (7).
> Head coach Denise Schilte-Brown is in her 11th year with the program.
> Senior goalkeeper Kat Elliot has started every match for the Bulls and has 50 saves on the season so far.

> The Owls are 0-4-0 all-time against the Bulls. Last year Temple fell 1-0 vs. USF.
