Men's Tennis Had Four Players Participate in ITA Invitational

PHILADELPHIA- Temple's men's tennis team continued its fall season at the ITA Invitational in Tulsa, Okla. The four player from the team that participated in the event were sophomore Juan Araoz, junior Alberto Caceres Casas, junior Uladzimir Dorash and senior Thomas Sevel.
Match Results
> Araoz fell to Jamie Davis from Oklahoma 6-3, 6-4 in the prequalifying round and to Maksymilian Raupuk from Purdue 6-3, 6-4 in the prequalifying consultation.
> Dorash fell to Lucas Taylor from Northern Arizona 6-4, 6-3 in the prequalifying round and Aviv Ben Shabat from Butler 6-4, 7-5 in the prequalifying round consultation.
> Cáceres Casas fell to Sebastian Santibanez from Lamar 7-5, 7-6 (4) in the prequalifying round but defeated Jan Leithner from Hofstra 6-2, 6-2 in the prequalifying round consultation.
> Sevel lost to Tyler Schick from Tulane 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 in the qualifying round.
Match Notes
>The four Owls players at the ITA Invitational played in a total of seven matches.
> Cáceres Casas was the only player to win a match in the prequalifying consolation round.

"I am very proud of the way that our guys competed," said Temple head coach Steve Mauro. "The competition was from the best players in the country and I thought our guys played well. We will improve on this going forward."
