Women's Basketball Heads to Iona

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's basketball team will go on the road for the first time this season, playing at Iona on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The match-up will air on ESPN3.
SCOUTING TEMPLE
> Temple is 2-1 overall, playing its first three games at home.
> Tanaya Atkinson leads the Owls, averaging a double-double of 25.7 points and 12.0 rebounds per game.
> Freshman Mia Davis averages 12.0 points and 11.3 boards per game.
> Freshman Desiree Oliver averages 8.7 points per game, while classmate Emani Mayo averages 7.0.
> Freshman Breanna Perry adds 6.7 points per game, while senior Khadijah Berger chips in with 5.7 points and a team-best 5.9 assists per game.
