PHILADELPHIA -- Temple senior Tanaya Atkinson was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for her performance last week.

LEADING THE OWLS
> Atkinson averaged 21.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for Temple.
> On Wednesday she scored 21 points with seven rebounds, as the Owls topped Big 5 rival La Salle.
> On Saturday, Atkinson turned in her fifth double-double of the season, with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and four steals in a loss to Ole Miss.
> The senior leads the Owls in scoring (23.0 ppg) and rebounding (10.8 rpg) on the season.
