Atkinson Earns Fifth Straight American Weekly Nod

PHILADELPHIA -- For the fifth time in five weeks, Temple senior Tanaya Atkinson was among the names on the list of American Athletic Conference Weekly Honors. The guard earned her fourth honor roll appearance of the week on Monday.
FOURTH QUARTER SURGE
>Â Atkinson led the Owls in scoring in an 83-77 come-from-behind win over Marist on Saturday.
> The guard finished the game with 25 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
> Atkinson shot 56.3% (9-16) from the field and 50% (1-2) from three-point range.
> 10 of her 25 points came in the fourth quarter of the back-and-forth battle.

> Temple hosts defending NCAA Champion, #4/5 South Carolina, on Thursday at the Liacouras Center.
