Aryanna Anderson Added to Incoming Gymnastics Class

PHILADELPHIA - Head coach Umme Salim-Beasley has announced the commitment of Aryanna Anderson for the incoming class of women's gymnastics student-athletes. Anderson hails from Maple Shade, N.J. and joins a group of five previous commits set to begin in August of this year.
Anderson will come to Temple after training at TNT Elite, Inc. under head coach Todd Weiss.
In her 2016 campaign, Anderson was a J.O. National Qualifier where she placed 22nd in the all-around with a 37.325. Her highest individual placement at Nationals came on beam with a 9.5 performance that placed her tied for 23rd. Prior to J.O. Nationals, Anderson placed fourth in the all-around at the Region 7 Qualifiers, picking up a silver medal on vault. Â
So far in her senior season, Anderson has picked up a second place finish in the all-around at the Hill's Maryland Classic with a score of 37.425. At the same meet, she earned two silver medals on beam and floor and two bronze medals on vault and bars.
The class of 2021 now includes Anderson along with Kaci Martir (Cincinnati), Delaney Garin (Capital), Erica Fuchs (Parkettes), Jordyn Oster (Harford), and Monica Servidio (Action).Â
